If you are looking for a fun activity for your family this Easter, the Lone Star Flight Museum is the place to be.

Little aviators can join their age group to hunt for Easter eggs around the aircraft,  enjoy museum exhibits, participate in the craft tables, and take a ride in the simulator.

Museum visitors will also enjoy more than two dozen amazing aircrafts, flight simulators, MaxFlight full motion simulators, the Flight Academy exhibit, Heritage Gallery, and the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame.

The Easter Egg Hunt will take place Saturday, April 8, at Ellington Airport located at 1551 Aerospace Avenue in Houston.

Discount tickets will be available from 9 a.m. 11 a.m., and regular ticket pricing begins at 11 a.m.

Times and activities vary:

Easter Egg Hunt:

  • 9 a.m.   Doors open! – $5 Admission for Kids and $10 for adults.
  • 9:30 – 9:45 a.m. Ages 3 and younger in Heritage Hangar
  • 9:50 – 10:05 a.m. Ages 4 & 6 in Waltrip Hangar
  • 10:10 – 10:25 a.m. Ages 7 & 8 in Heritage Hangar
  • 10:30 – 10:45 a.m. Ages 9 & 10 on LSFM Ramp

 More Easter Activities:

10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Eggstronaut Activity – Protect that Egg! Make a safe housing unit for your egg, then toss it over the 2nd floor overlook! Eggs “fly” every half hour.

10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Make & Take Bunny Copter – It’s an Easter theme paper airplane. Join in the fun and watch it fly!

All eggs are filled with toys or candy and whoever finds the special bunny eggs will get a surprise from the Museum gift shop!
