Netflix has become a household staple in 2020, so much so, that the subculture even coined the phrase “Netflix and Chill.”

The digital streaming service has been the only joy for many of us who spent the year locked in the house due to COVID-19 quarantine. From Tiger King to the Queen’s Gambit, we’ve watched it all.

And now they are helping us move on from 2020 by reminding us of why we needed to break up with this year in the first place.

The newly released “Death to 2020” is a Netflix original film that recaps every hellish event of 2020, from the Beirut explosion to the never-ending presidential election votes.

Narrated by Laurence Fishburne and starring an all-star cast of Hugh Grant, Cristin Milioti, Leslie Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Lisa Kudrow, Tracey Ulman and Kumail Nanjiani “Death to 2020” is poignant, yet sarcastically accurate.

Kudrow, Grant and Milioti stole the show!

Milioti, formerly of the hit show “How I Met Your Mother” plays a “Karen” who is constantly going viral for her acts of “white privilege” and Black Lives Matter rhetoric. Meanwhile, Grant is a historian that is anything but politically correct and is seen getting flustered at the fact that everything he says seems to offend everyone. Then there is Kudrow, who is the quintessential Trump White House spokesperson that refuses to acknowledge the Coronavirus and deflects everything back on Hunter Biden.

Jackson is also a great addition to the cast for his savvy one-liners and jabs at the political climate, and Ulman pops in as the Queen of England.

If you haven’t seen the film, grab a snack and your comfy PJs and bring in the New Year with the DEATH TO 2020! No, but seriously GOODBYE!
