Fresh off the success from her major collaboration “Relax” with the “King of H-Town” Slim Thug, Houston native Lenora is back with her hot new single Red Flags.

Red Flags is a call to action. It’s full of all the warnings my mama told me to watch out for before I was even old enough to date,” said Lenora.

The upbeat, G-funk inspired record was produced at Los Angeles’ Truth Studios by super-producer ‘Polyester The Saint’ and serves as a prequel to her long-awaited full-length project “Girls.”

Known for her sultry, R&B sounds, Lenora switched up her style for Red Flags, and wants the song to serve as an anthem for girls everywhere.

“This song is about keeping your eyes open while you’re dating. It’s about not settling for less for the sake of stability. It’s ultimately about knowing your worth and then adding tax,” she said.

To accompany the 80’s-influenced beat, Lenora released a “School Daze” inspired music video that was written and directed by the multi-talented singer.

“The music video for Red Flags is so special for so many reasons. For one, it’s my directorial debut. I collaborated with a talented videographer here in Houston named Robert Jordan III and explained my vision. We knocked out the shoot – which included dialogue, action and choreography – in one night. It was a challenge, but it was so much fun!!! It ended up being our own little short film, so I’m so proud of it,” said Lenora.

Red Flags is available on Apple Music, Spotify and Youtube. “Girls” is scheduled to be released on January 27, 2021.
