Meet Slim Thug & Lil Keke at Checkers Baytown grand opening on Feb. 10

Hey there, burger lovers, there is a new Checkers coming to Baytown! Checkers & Rally’s, an iconic and innovative drive-thru restaurant chain known for its exceptional value, people-first attitude and “Crazy Good Food” will host a grand opening for their new location in Baytown, Texas on Feb. 10.
The three-hour event will feature music, entertainment, specialty menu items, prizes, and guest appearances by Houston’s “Hometown Hero” Slim Thug, and rap legend Lil Keke. This is a family-friendly event and all are welcome to attend.

Checkers is committed to consistently serving the community in many ways. In 2023, they assisted in back-to-school drives, provided a platform for Coolxdad 501c3, supported HBCU athletes during the Final Four weekend, and partnered with youth organizations for Houston Step Fest, just to name a few.

For this grand opening, Checkers will partner with non-profit Love Network to collect socks and undergarments for those in need. All attendees are encouraged to bring brand new socks and undergarments as there will be donation boxes onsite. A percentage of sales during the event will also be donated to Love Network.
“We are excited to be a part of the Baytown community and host our grand opening. Our goal is to continue to provide craveable food and the best value to our guests,” said Ashley Alam, franchise owner.
