Rapper Paul Wall surprises Slim Thug as he works Checkers drive-thru

When you’re hard at work at your “first real job,” the last thing you need are your homies coming by to interrupt, right? Well, it’s OK to make an exception sometimes, especially when it’s all love and support.
Rapper Paul Wall and his “swangers” swung through the drive-thru at Checkers, where fellow H-town legendary rapper, Slim Thug, was hard at work.
On Tuesday, Paul drove up, ordered “The Big Slim,” then proceeded to the window, catching his longtime friend off-guard.
And just as we thought, Slim took a break to spend time with his friends. NOPE, back to work!
It was all good, though, as Slim has been honored to be a part of the Checkers family.

“I’m so grateful to Checkers for giving me an opportunity to work with them. This is my first real job, and I’ve worked hard putting together ‘The Big Slim,’ which is my favorite menu item,” he shared.
Every Houston Checkers location now offers “The Big Slim” meal, which consists of a double-meat patty with extra cheese and bacon. For a limited time, Houstonians can also receive a 44oz cup with Slim Thug’s face on it.
This was not the first time the rapper has put in hard work behind the “mic” at the restaurant. Earlier this year, Slim surprised fans as he personally took their orders on his first day as drive-thru manager.
