Mike Tyson made a surprise visit to Trill Burgers Monday evening. His presence adds to the growing list of A-list celebrities who’ve stopped by Houston to get a taste of this NOW “world famous” burgers.

Iron Mike, who was accompanied by Ryan Fiterman of Fiterman Sports, ordered the Vegan OG combo — a vegan smashburger made with plant-based Impossible patties, vegan Trill Sauce, caramelized onions, pickles and vegan cheese.

The original “Trill OG” Bun B asked Tyson what he thought of the burger.

After taking a big bite, Tyson first joked that it was “aight” (alright), then he changed his tune and said it was “BEAUTIFUL!”

What about us common folks?

Well, I have been obsessed with trying a Trill Burger for more than a year now. I finally got my chance a few weeks ago and, overall, liked the burger, but there were a couple of things that I thought needed a bit of enhancement, if I may say.

Here is my review, posted on social media and many agreed, especially on what I said about the French fries.

REVIEW:

“I DID IT! Kicked off my STAYCATION with a visit to #TrillBurgers !!! What did I think? Well…. The beef was seasoned VERY well.. loved the Trill sauce, pickles and onions…but the cheese tasted a little strange to me… Overall the burger was tasty.. (but not better than Whataburger…sorry peeps)… and the FRIES need to be eliminated altogether-thin, hard and no salt or seasoning…. BUT THE AMBIANCE WAS GREAT! The packaging was PERFECTION! Loved seeing Bun B on the #HappyMeals type box… would I STAND in line for it again… possibly not… would I go if there was a drive thru? Likely… And I’d definitely make it a HOT SPOT to take out-of-towners who need to see some H-Town Flava…. Hey, I love Bun B .. so I’ll always support… just a plea on behalf of the people… change those fries, bruh!!!!”
