Harris County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth is once again helping parents and guardians get their students ready for school. The clerk’s office is hosting its “Back-to-School Birth Certificates” event, where families can obtain those much-needed and mandatory documents needed for school registration.

“I am a working parent and totally understand that this time of year can be stressful when you are rushing to get everything you need for back-to-school,” Harris County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth said after last year’s event.

Last year, the office served dozens of families and issued 200 birth certificates. This year, they are hoping for an even bigger turnout to help more people in need.
