Singer Kelis is piping mad after her song was sampled on Beyonce’s newly-released internet shaking album Renaissance, without her knowledge.

The “Milkshake” singer said she could care less about the Bey Hive and what they have to say, she feels she has been robbed, or in her words, it is downright “theft.”

“My mind is blown too because the level of disrespect and utter ignorance of all 3 parties involved is astounding,” Kelis commented from her official Instagram page. “I heard about this the same way everyone else did. Nothing is ever as it seems, some of the people in this business have no soul or integrity and they have everyone fooled.”

In Beyonce’s new song, “Energy,” she sampled a track from Kelis’ song “Get Along with You,” which was produced by The Neptunes.

That little nugget adds clarity to the reason for Kelis’ outspoken disappointment because she claims the Neptunes, with mega singer and prouducer Pharrell, ripped her off when she created this piece and her album.

“Get Along with You” is credited to Pharrell and Chad Hugo, so it is highly likely that Bey obtained permission from them, not legally needing to reach out to Kelis. As they say, it’s the biz!

Still, Kelis ain’t having it, hinting that she may be moving toward taking legal action.

“This was a TRIGGER for me. ‘Milkshake’ alone is one of the most licensed records of our generation. I am a creator, I’m an innovator, I have done more then left my mark on an era of music and style that will go down in history. But there are bully’s and secrets and gangsters in this industry that smile and get away with it until someone says enough is enough. So I’m saying it today. I’m coming for what’s mine and I want reparations,” she posted.

Beyonce’s new album, Renaissance, dropped today but was already leaked online, sparking all the frenzy.
