Meek Mill is being dragged by the Black Twitterverse for a “charity gone wrong” incident on the streets of Atlanta.
The video, which has racked up over 30,000 likes, shows Meek conversing with a group of boys selling water and telling them to split the $20 before driving away.
Many saw the meager donation as a slap in the face to the young children who were working to make extra money during this season of giving.
“The funny part is that you can give $20 to these kids and then go right down the street to Magic City and throw racks at a stripper,” one Twitter user wrote.

“They did not appreciate it lmao, their faces said it all. You gave hustling kids $2.50 a piece after they have to go break the s***, while in a 400k car. Should’ve just passed by, it wasnt a good look bro,” another critic wrote.
Meek has not responded to the criticism, but reposted the video with a caption that read, “They appreciated it, they just hustling kids.”
