Father’s Day is just around the corner and Steak 48 is celebrating Dad by opening their posh River Oaks District restaurant on Sunday. Families can now visit the acclaimed steakhouse and savor the bountiful menu that features an array of USDA prime steaks and chops such as the Bone-In Filet Mignon (12 oz/$72 and 18 oz/$84) and NY Strip (12oz/$54 and 16oz/$67) – wet-aged for 28 days, cooked in a 1600-degree broiler, and served on a sizzling plate in clarified butter.

Additional menu highlights include the fresh seafood tower and shareable sides such as praline sweet potatoes ($14) and Alaskan king crab and rock shrimp mac & cheese ($44). Enhance your meal with a hand-crafted cocktail made from local ingredients or a selection from the restaurant’s award-winning wine list. Steak 48 will be open on Father’s Day from 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made here

Join Picos in celebrating Father’s Day with the addition of the Antojito Platter to its traditional Sunday brunch offerings. The special platter includes authentic Mexican staples gorditas, salbutes, tlacoyos, picadas and quesadillas.

The ever-popular Sunday brunch will also feature a special chef’s carving station with prime rib, cured & smoked racks of wild boar, and roasted lamb lollipops.
