Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
3/4 cup ketchup
3 teaspoons brown sugar
salt, to taste
ground black pepper, to taste
bulkie rolls, optional, for serving

Directions

Step 1 – In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, onion, and green pepper until the beef is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 2 – Drain off the liquids in the skillet.

Step 3 – Stir in the garlic powder, mustard, ketchup, and brown sugar, mixing thoroughly.

Step 4 – Reduce the heat to low and allow the mixture to simmer for 30 minutes.

Step 5 – Season with salt and pepper.

Step 6 – Pile high on bulkie rolls and serve!
