As Houstonians begin to get back into the swing of things post-holiday season, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Marmo in Montrose – located within the buzzy Montrose Collective mixed-use development – recently announced a new 2-course prix fixe lunch menu for $29. Served daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the daytime menu offers a quick alternative for guests on the go or for those seeking a leisurely reprieve after a morning of shopping.

For starters, guests will be able to choose from a selection of savory bites such as Polpette with tomato sauce and whipped ricotta and Tuscan Fried Chicken served with crispy artichokes, Meyer lemon, and garlic aioli. Lighter options abound with Oysters on the Half Shell featuring Calabrian chile mignonette, the Marmo House Salad boasting fennel, hearts of palm, and a zesty citrus vinaigrette, and a tempting house-made Charcuterie selection complete with salumi, Italian cheese, and giardiniera.

Second course dishes take center stage with hand-rolled pastas including the rich Bolognese made with tagliatelle pasta, veal ragu, and Parmigiano-Reggiano and Marmo’s seasonal favorite – Pumpkin Agnolotti with brown butter, sage, and a sprinkle of hazelnut granola. Additional highlights include Texas Redfish served over a bed of heirloom tomatoes with capers, Calabrian chile, and basil; Chicken Parmigiana crowned with San Marzano tomato sauce and house made mozzarella; and the refreshing Blue Crab Bruschetta featuring perfectly toasted bread topped with avocado, fresh blue crab, Fresno chile, and a squeeze of lemon.
