The modern, live-fire steakhouse is offering a family-style meal featuring an air-dried, glazed, and lightly smoked Christmas Goose Dinner served with a multitude of exquisite side dishes including oyster stuffing, whiskey goose gravy, grilled greens, roasted vegetables, and cranberry relish. Premier Mexican restaurant, Arnaldo Richards’ Picos will be open on Christmas Eve from 9 am-9 pm with their famous Sunday brunch buffet from 10 am-3 pm. The festive brunch will feature Picos’ traditional holiday moles in addition to a smoked turkey at a carving station, along with their usual offerings including a chef’s carving station, waffle and omelet stations, paella grande, and other traditional Mexican options. Don’t forget to order tamales to-go for Christmas Day festivities! The all-you-can-eat buffet is $54 for adults, $42 for seniors, $30 for children over eight years old, and free for children under eight years old.

The Montrose staple will be open during their regular hours on Christmas Eve, as well as brunch for those looking for a festive pre-Christmas meal. Guests can enjoy their seasonal favorite Beef Wellington elevated with rich umami infusion of wild mushrooms encased in a robust pastry crust, lit up by Sauce Perigourdine. They are offering another way to enjoy this holiday classic – at home. Spend Christmas Eve at Le Jardinier in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston! The modern, French dining institution by The Bastion Collection is celebrating the holiday season with a one-day-only five-course dinner ($175) created by chef de cuisine Felipe Botero. The menu includes Scallop Crudo with heirloom beets and radishes, lime cream and Royal Kaluga caviar; AOP Gruyere Cheese Souffle with shaved black truffle and Arbois-flavored winter mushroom; Saffron Carolina Gold Rice Risotto with halibut, watercress coulis, bouillabaisse and clams; Red Wine Braised Chuck Beef with crispy potatoes, Brussel sprouts and treviso; and a Black Forest Log with vanilla Chantilly cream, kirsch macerated cherry and chocolate cremeux for dessert. Ojo de Agua, the Mexico City-born restaurant located in the River Oaks District, will be open on Christmas Eve from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Christmas Day from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can dine in or order to-go from their regular menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner options served all day long. Celebrate the holiday season with The Pit Room’s Christmas Takeout Menu! Pre-order their deliciously smoked Whole Turkey ($85) brined for 48 hours in brown sugar, sage, and apples. Served with house poultry rub and smoked over post oak, this 12-pound turkey is sure to be the highlight of Christmas dinner.
