We do not know what exactly happened, but there is no excuse for anyone to brutally assault Macaroni Tony, a treasured Houston personality, in the manner shown on now viral videos.

For those of you who don’t know him, the man, who is believed to be in his 70s, is known for wearing custom-made clothing, reminiscent of the 1970’s “The Mack” era.

The eccentric dresser is always full of smiles and willing to stop and take photos with his droves of fans, in addition to tourists who are in amazement after crossing paths with him.

His photos go viral, with him wearing the most colorful suits, matching hats, feathers and even during the pandemic, he had matching masks.

But the city is now outraged after a video surfaced showing a group of what appears to be young people stomping and kicking the helpless man.

A woman seen on the video throwing blows at Tony said it was Tony who initiated the altercation. She spoke with KRIV FOX 26’s Isiah Carey, host of Isiah Factor Uncensored, telling her side of the story.

Karinesha Jackson says Tony touched her backside with his popular “feather duster,” which caused her father to get upset.

She says her father told Tony to stay away from his kids, and said that led to Tony attacking the dad, choking him from behind.

Jackson said that is when she and her other family members came to the dad’s defense, which led to the beatdown.

Carey made a point saying that none of what Jackson said was captured on video. She then expressed being puzzled as to why no one showed that part.

Commenters did not appear to buy her side of the story, saying that Tony is full of fun and life, and is harmless.

Tony now has released a video, saying Jackson is a liar and he was just waving his feather duster as he usually does, and was not making any advances toward the girls. He also admits he struck out at the man who was confronting him. He released an IG video, explaining his side of the story.

Let’s pray for a speedy recovery for Tony.
