Houston Restaurant Weeks is around the corner, taking place Aug. 1 – Sept. 4, this year.

Houston’s most anticipated foodie event features 35 days of delicious meals and super deals raising necessary funds for the Houston Food Bank. An extensive list of the most popular restaurants will participate and serve specially priced, multi-course prix fixe menus for brunch ($25), lunch ($25), or dinner ($39 or $55), available for dine-in and take-out.

Acclaimed Woodlands eatery, Amrina, is set to make its inaugural debut for the 20th anniversary of Houston Restaurant Weeks. They’ve conjured up a flavorful three-course dinner for $55 for their debut year. Indulge in signature dishes like Chaat boasting batata harra, garbanzo beans, aloo tikki mousse, kale khakhra and an ensemble of chutneys or Jassi’s Butter Chicken with peppadew juanita pepper & cashew nut gravy, fenugreek butter. For an extra $20, savor their Rara Lamp Chops served with crispy eggplant, spiced ground lamb and a touch of mint. End your meal on a sweet note with a choice between the Masala Chai Marble Cake served with pistachio biscotti crumble, milk ice cream, tuille or the delectable Coconut Panna Cotta topped with berries and honeycomb.

Known for its authentic Mexican cuisine rooted in the rich flavors of the seven regions of Mexico, Arnaldo Richards’ Picos is serving both dinner ($39) and lunch ($25) options for Houston Restaurant Weeks. The robust three-course dinner menu includes six options for course one, including Ensalada Verde, Tostada de Ceviche and Beetroot Carpaccio, with eight options for the main course including Carna Asada a la Tampiquena, Pollo En Mole Negro Oaxaqueno and Enchiladas de Crawfish, complete with four dessert options such as Churros and Tres Leches Helen. For lunch, guests can enjoy a two-course menu with four starter options featuring dishes like Caldo Tlalpeno and Nachos Jorge, followed by a choice of six entrees including Tacos Al Carbon, Torta Cubana and Spinach Enchiladas and more.

Eloise Nichols, the charming all-day cafe from the family team behind Adair Concepts, is offering both lunch and dinner menus for Houston Restaurant Weeks this year. For dinner, guests can enjoy a three-course menu for $39, with Caramelized Brussel Sprouts, Blistered Shishito Peppers and a Crabcake options for course one, Simply Gilled Salmon, a Ribeye and a Korean Glass Noodles dish for the entrée selections, complete with Raspberry Sorbet, Hazelnut Chocolate Cake or Cheesecake for dessert. Stop by the neighborhood gem for lunch to take your pick from the two-course HRW menu for $25. Options include Gazpacho, Caramelized Brussel Sprouts and Deviled Eggs for starters, with a Turkey Melt, Superfoods Bowl and the Eloise classic Crispy Chicken Sandwich options for the main course.

Diners who opt for the three-course dinner ($55) can pick one item from each section of the menu, which will feature their famous Slab Salad, Smoked Red Fish Dip and Bacon Sausage and Hash Browns in the first course; Hanger Steak and Frites with hollandaise, 8-ounce Filet with asparagus and hollandaise (additional $20), Comeback Slathered Chicken Breast with Texas caviar, Flounder Courtboillon with rice grits and fried okra, and 3-ounce Poached King Crab Leg (additional $30) in the second course; and Chocolate Cake, Pineapple Vacherin and Banana Pudding in the final dessert course.

From August 1st through September 4th, guests can enjoy a 2-course brunch or lunch for $25 and a 3-course dinner for $55. Lunch highlights include savory Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, the signature Loch Burger, and the Blackened Mahi Mahi Sandwich while dinner highlights include fresh Mahi Ceviche, a 14-ounce Berkshire Pork Chop, and the Maine Lobster Roll with drawn butter, chives, and celery leaf inside a toasted split-top bun. Visit during brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for fan-favorites such as Chicken-N-Waffles featuring crispy chicken atop pecan waffles with cranberry-serrano chutney and maple syrup, and the Crab Cake Benedict with two crab cakes, poached eggs, cheron sauce, and mixed fruit.

Ojo de Agua is offering Houston Restaurant Weeks diners two opportunities to take advantage of special pricing to support the Houston Food Bank. Their two-course $25 brunch menu features first-course options such as the Tropical Ceviche made with fresh tuna, diced mango and green apple and dressed in a chili garlic soy sauce with lime or the Guacamole “Ojo de Agua Style” (served vegetarian or with Ribeye Chicharrón – yes, you right that right – think, crispy deep fried steak cubes) and second-course dishes such as their super popular Chilaquiles served with Red or Green sauce or a combination of the two or their signature Mexican Molletes served on locally sourced focaccia with beans, chihuahua, ricotta cheese, pork sausage and pico de gallo. Ojo de Agua’s three-course dinner menu includes first-course highlights such as the Kale Cesar Salad or a Rosemary Pasta Salad tossed in a spicy rosemary dressing made with dried tomatoes, rosemary and a matcha sauce. Ostia makes its Houston Restaurant Weeks debut this summer as the popular Houston Food Bank fundraiser marks its milestone 20th year. The bountiful, two-course lunch ($25) features fresh starters such as Summer Bruschetta with grilled bread topped with savory summer toppings; Caesar Salad with anchovy dressing, and Salumi which includes sliced salumi and focaccia. Lunch entrees are Pizza Bianca, a white pizza with vegetarian seasonal toppings, Chicken Salad Sandwich, Bucatini Carbonara – all served with potatoes and aioli. For dinner ($55), indulge in a three-course dinner menu, ideal for exploring a variety of seasonal tastes like our Caesar Salad with little gem lettuce, anchovy dressing, croutons and pecorinos; Seasonal Bruschetta with grilled bread topped with savory summer toppings; and Salumi with sliced salumi and focaccia. Main courses of Chicken with Salsa Verde featuring roast chicken, grilled lemon, and salsa verde; Gnocchi with seasonal vegetables; Bucatini Amatricana with guanciale, tomato, chili and pecorino; and all entrees are served with Potato and Aioli. Pastore, Underbelly Hospitality’s new coastal Italian concept, is serving up some delicious can’t-miss specials this Houston Restaurant Weeks! Diners who stop by for the three-course dinner ($55) can pick one item from each section of the menu. The first course will feature Panzanella Salad with heirloom tomato, whipped burrata, fermented peach and focaccia; Caesar Salad; and Gulf Shrimp served with an Italian-style XO sauce. The second course offers Truffled Cacio e Pepe Bucatini with pecorino, black pepper and truffle; Short Rib Risotto with red wine braised short rib; and Pan Seared Snapper and Polenta served with tomato sugo. The final dessert course will feature Celery Root Panna Cotta with limoncello sabayon, glazed figs and Sicilian pistachio; Olive Oil Cupcake with goat cheese frosting and honey roasted peach filling; and Not a Pavlova Meringue, which is made with citrus and dark chocolate.

Menu highlights include fresh starters such as the Brussels Sprouts Salad and Hannah’s Field with kale, heritage grains, apple, apricot, toasted almonds, pecorino stagionato, pickled red onions, apple cider-mustard vinaigrette, and choice of a chicken or petite filet skewer. Main courses include four paninis – the Nine Iron with smoked bacon, roasted chicken, fresh stracciatella, mixed greens, tomato, and dijonnaise; Prosciutto & Brie with prosciutto di parma, brie, fig jam, arugula, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil; Chicken & Mozzarella with roasted chicken, fresh mozzarella, arugula, red onion, and spicy sun-dried tomato aioli; and the Vegetarian featuring creamy feta, almond hummus, avocado, spicy marcona almonds, cucumbers, olives, mixed greens, tomato, and basil.
