Many Millenials will remember the BET show College Hill, which debuted back in the early 2000s. Well, the show is back and cast member Joselyn Hernandez is being canceled over her comments about pet parents.

The concept of the show is to take celebrities and allow them to attend classes at a Historically Black College and live together in a dorm-like atmosphere.

In the recent episode, Hernandez can be seen consoling Tiffany “I Love New York” Pollard after Pollard shares that she had recently lost her daughter. Hernandez who is also a mom became emotional and the two ladies shared a tender bonding moment.

Later in the show, Hernandez learns from her college castmates that the daughter that Pollard was referring to was a dog.  Hernandez confronts Pollard and tells her that she was taking her hug back because Pollard was a liar and pets do not count as children. Of course, Pollard was outraged and tried to explain to Hernandez that her “dog-ter” meant as much to her as her daughter does to her.

Social media immediately reacted to the episode and called for Hernandez to issue an apology to pet parents everywhere.

And in true Joselyn fashion she of course “Would die be born again and die again before she did that,” which is her famous clapback from her Love and Hip Hop Days.

But not everyone was angry with Hernandez with others agreeing that they did not understand pet owners and their infatuation with their four-legged friends.

Take a look at the debate below and tell us what you think in the comments. Do you think Joselyn was in the wrong or was Pollard out of line?
