Rhianna is the latest in the growing list of celebrities who have been trolled online about the appearance of their baby.

The fact that people continue to think that it’s okay to speak negatively about an innocent baby is beyond disgusting.

Online bullies were quick to criticize Rhianna and ASAP Rocky’s baby after his photos appeared in the recent issue of British Vogue.

Some even went as far as to say that Rhianna deserved the cruelty because she was once a bully and would have said it herself if the baby wasn’t her own.

But Rhianna isn’t the first celebrity to experience the wrath of cyber trolls.

Beyonce and Jay Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy, was heavily criticized for years, not only by cyber bullies but by legitimate journalists and bloggers who wrote about her hair and facial features on numerous occasions.

Blogger Perez Hilton was forced to apologize to Adam Sandler’s daughter Sadie for calling her the ugliest celebrity kid he had ever seen and Khloe Kardashian’s daughter True has been trolled for not being as attractive as her cousin Chicago and Stormi.

Rapper Lil Kim’s daughter was also scrutinized due to her daughter’s Congenital Ptosis diagnosis. The comments even spilled over into a rap beef with 50 Cent after he posted a picture of an owl, alluding to Kim’s daughter, Royal Reign.

Unfortunately, people can hide behind the internet and throw slugs at precious babies and celebrities are forced to either clap back or ignore the rude comments.

As much as we, as a society, shame people like Kylie Jenner for getting so much cosmetic work done, you have to wonder if her growing up in the spotlight as a child celebrity and constantly being compared to her older siblings was the reason for her wanting to alter her appearance.

On one hand, we tell people to love the skin they are in, and on the other hand, we put them down for not living up to a make believe standard.

Our hearts go out to Rhi Rhi and Rocky as they learn to navigate these new waters. Despite how rude Rhianna was to other celebs like Teyana Taylor, Ciara and Karrueche Tran in the past, it’s beyond cruel to shame her baby boy.
