Monstrous mayhem unleashed for 3 weeks of Halloween at Children’s Museum Houston!
Looking to celebrate Halloween ahead of schedule? We’ve got you covered because something spooky is going on all month long at the Children’s Museum Houston! A myriad of magic, mystery and monsters have maneuvered their way into the museum for three weeks of Halloween.
Guests are invited to partake in spine-tingling experiments, spirit-lifting activities and slime-filled fun during CMH’s “Halloween Monster Mayhem” from Oct. 11 to 29.
Kids can meander their way through the museum in search of goblins, goodies and goo!
- Set out on a trick-or-treat quest every day from 4 to 6 p.m. on weekdays; 4 to 8 p.m. during Free Family Night Thursdays; and all day on weekends through Halloween night!
- Move your bones to funky tunes at our spooktacular Halloween Monster Mash Bash complete with slime and spooky canines on Oct. 29.

Beware the blob! The museum is going gaga for goo as everyone experiences a slime breach. You’re invited to help overcome a gelatinous hiccup by probing different types of slime during an out-of-this-world workshop. It creeps. It crawls. It’s all over the walls!
SPOOKY CANINE SHOW
Saturday, Oct. 29, beginning at 11 a.m.
Be amazed by some seriously talented Halloween doggos as they perform for you during this ghastly shindig! Watch the Texas Six Steppers put on a dog show with a Halloween twist.
