Phil & Derek’s has been serving Houston great music and great food since 2008. Head to Houston Heights hotspot, Kin Dee, for dinner and live music every day of the week. The restaurant’s entertainment includes a lineup of classical Thai dancing, saxophonists, pianists, DJs, and a variety of solo and duo singers. Inspired by four different regions of Thailand, dishes served at Kin Dee include Panang Curry ($16) with chicken, pork, or shrimp served with Thai Jasmine steamed rice, Slow Cooked Duck Breast Noodle Soup ($20), and Drunken Noodles ($17) with stir-fried big rice noodles, a choice of chicken or shrimp, Thai basil, Thai chili, Chinese broccoli, bamboo shoot, onion, and cabbage.

Warm weather means patio season in Houston, and downtown now has a new al fresco destination. Houstonians can take in the city’s spring breeze at the idyllic, new Rosalie Italian Spritz Garden, every Wednesday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. through June 29. Patrons can enjoy a rotating Spring drink menu featuring premium craft cocktails, take in live music from local talent, and enjoy lawn games, including giant Jenga and cornhole, on the newly renovated green space at Allen Center.
