Rising sensation, Ghanaian-American songstress Moliy recently premiered her newest single “Love Doc,” ahead of her EP Honey Doom, coming Summer 2022.

In the song, Moliy uses the sweet, melancholic tune to share her woes on a failed relationship. The track was produced by fellow Ghanian artist, Zodivc, a major contributor to the afrobeats and alte scenes, recently known for his crossover work with Chance the Rapper.

Moliy reflects on her struggles as a way to come to terms with the harsh reality of dating in the 21st century. But even in moments of despair, she’s well aware of what she deserves.

“You don’t know what you done lost,” she repeats firmly, cutting ties with her heartbreaker.

She finds the remedy for her heartache to be some wicked good fun, and finding gratitude in youthful exuberance.

The single release follows another video drop for the global and viral sensation Sad Girlz Luv Money Remix, written by Moliy, Amaarae and with Kali Uchis joining for the remix.

The track already has 220M+ global streams (charted on Spotify Top 200 Chart in 60 countries – including #18 in the Global Chart, #28 in the UK and Top 40 in the US), charting on main Apple Music All Genre Chart in 133 countries – including #12 in UK and Top 50 in, with 3.3m Shazams, the remix has seen a peak at #1 on the Global Shazam Chart and #1 in the US, #29 in the UK TOP 40 Singles Chart, as well currently peaking at #35 on US Rhythmic Radio Chart.
