Houston attorney honors 21 powerhouse women at “History in the Making” celebration

It was a night of red carpet glam, heartfelt tributes, and undeniable Black girl magic as Houston attorney Rodney Jones of RJ Law Group, P.C. honored 21 phenomenal women at the 2025 History in the Making Dinner. The celebration took place Wednesday, March 26, at the elegant Duchess Uptown and served as a vibrant capstone to Women’s History Month.

‘Flower Clouds’ bloom in North Houston’s City Place this spring with March 15 debut

The expansive piece “Flower Clouds” debuts at City Place on March 15. Presented as a collection of whimsical park benches that colorfully depict over 25 species of natural vegetation (as well as insects and birds) native to the Texas Gulf Coast, Flower Clouds will span The Plaza from its uppermost part outside the Houston City Place Marriott down to the waterfront and the start of City Place Park.
