Nakia is a multi award-winning journalist who's proudly the first African American person to manage a digital media / web department at a Houston TV news station (Tribune Media's CW 39), in addition to fulfilling leadership roles at KHOU-11 News (CBS) and KPRC-2 (NBC). After successfully helping others grow, she decided to launch her own platforms for more creative control as the "Head Chick-in-Charge."
