The nationally acclaimed sandwich shop known for oversized Italian subs and viral buzz will open its third Houston-area location this summer at City Place, bringing one of Texas’ most talked-about deli brands to the growing North Houston business corridor.
The nearly 2,000-square-foot Tony’s Italian Delicatessen North Houston location will sit on the ground floor of City Place 1 at 1700 City Plaza Drive, with a public debut anticipated in late summer 2026.
Tony’s Italian Delicatessen has built a devoted following across Texas for its authentic Italian flavors, generous portions and family-style hospitality. The brand has appeared multiple times on Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in the United States, including earning the No. 1 spot in previous years and currently ranking among the top five restaurants nationwide.
With established locations in Tomball and Montgomery, the expansion into North Houston positions the deli within reach of more than 20,000 employees and residents who live and work inside the City Place district.
