Houston’s dining and art scenes are colliding in the most delicious way possible. Nestled inside POST Houston — the city’s creative hub where industrial architecture meets bold imagination — Art Club is debuting its first-ever Art Club Supper Club experience: Omakase, a progressive dining journey set for September 19 and 20 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Timed perfectly with the buzz of Untitled Art, Houston, this one-of-a-kind supper club invites guests to wander through 13 immersive galleries, each transformed into its own tasting station. Expect bite-sized marvels, artfully plated dishes, creative drinks, and sensory snacks — each one inspired by the cutting-edge artwork surrounding it.
The debut menu comes from the mind of Paul Qui, the renowned James Beard Award-winning chef known for blurring the lines between flavor and performance. Qui’s vision takes diners beyond taste alone, layering texture, temperature, color, and presentation into a multisensory experience that matches the mood of each gallery.
This isn’t just dinner — it’s edible art.
Guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes early to immerse fully in the prelude of sights and sounds. A 20% gratuity is already included in the ticket price, making it a seamless experience from start to finish.
And the night doesn’t end with dessert: Omakase guests will also receive complimentary entry to Art Club’s after-hours events, including a Friday DJ set by DVS1, a techno powerhouse and resident of Berlin’s famed Berghain, and a Saturday night concert by Houston’s own Jawwaad Taylor, whose experimental soundscapes will stretch the sensory journey late into the night.
In a city celebrated for its culinary creativity, Omakase at Art Club stands out as a rare chance to taste Houston’s artistic spirit — literally. It’s a feast for the senses, a love letter to the city’s innovative soul, and an evening sure to spark conversation long after the final course.
