After nearly a decade of spreading laughter from coast to coast, Laugh Your Truth “LYT” Productions is headed back to New York City with its signature blend of bold stand-up, raw honesty, and community-centered impact.

What started eight years ago as a weekly gathering at The Cellar Hollywood has grown into a full-on comedy movement. Today, LYT Productions is a bi-coastal force, producing hundreds of live shows and open mics, running community initiatives like LYT Comedy Cares—which uses humor to uplift underserved communities—and building confidence in the next generation through its Kids Comedy Camp.

That commitment to both culture and community hasn’t gone unnoticed. LYT has earned features on ABC LA News, in The LA Sentinel, and in Bold Magazine, praised for fusing entertainment with empowerment.

Now, the company is gearing up for its next chapter. In 2025, LYT will expand beyond the stage with the launch of the LYT Comedy Podcast, creating a space for comedians and truth-tellers to share stories and laughter with audiences everywhere.

But first, it’s a homecoming. On Saturday, August 23, the production company will bring LYT Comedy @ Nite: New York Edition to Caveat in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The show will feature a powerhouse lineup of comedians, including:

  • Eagle Witt (SiriusXM, MTV, Amazon Prime) – Headliner

  • Soo Ra (Netflix Is a Joke, Kill Tony, BuzzFeed)

  • Sasha Merci (HBO, Fuse, Complex)

  • Usama Siddiquee (Just for Laughs, The Late Show, Comedy Central)

Together, they’ll bring the fire, wit, and authenticity that audiences have come to expect from LYT’s productions.
