In a powerful celebration of history and health, the As One Foundation, is proud
to announce the World Sickle Cell Day Juneteenth Jubilee Health Fair and Blood Drive.

The third annual event will take place after the historical Sylvester Turner Juneteenth Parade on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Acres Home Multi-Service Center, located at 6719 West Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77091.

interconnectedness of these observances and highlights the importance of addressing health disparities while celebrating the resilience of the Black community. Sickle cell disease disproportionately affects communities of color and is often underdiagnosed and misunderstood.

The As One Foundation, through its outreach and events like the Juneteenth
Jubilee, remains committed to increasing education, early detection, and health equity.

Attendees can expect:
 Free sickle cell screening
 Free vaccines
 Free T-shirts and transportation vouchers
 A Free Chick-fil-A lunch
 Raffles, prizes, and giveaways
 A lively Kid Zone with family fun
 On-site Blood Drive supporting local patients in need

“This is more than a health fair, it’s a celebration of life, culture, and community,”20230723 131528 said As One Foundation Executive Director, Tomia Austin. “We’re bringing Houston together to uplift those affected by sickle cell disease and empower families with the tools to thrive.”
