A new destination for Houston’s most discerning wine lovers and food enthusiasts is on the horizon. Upscale wine and social club 55 Seventy has officially selected a coveted corner of the Upper Kirby District for its 2026 Houston debut — a nearly one-acre parcel nestled next to the award-winning Levy Park.

Set to break ground later this year at 3015 Richmond Avenue, the members-only club will feature a stunning 30,000-square-foot, three-story clubhouse designed by local visionaries Abel Design Group (architecture) and Gin Design Group (interiors), known for crafting some of Houston’s most memorable hospitality spaces.

“Houston has a dynamic and sophisticated culinary and wine scene, which makes it the perfect city for 55 Seventy’s expansion,” said founder Tommy Shuey. “We were especially drawn to Upper Kirby’s energy and its ideal proximity to River Oaks, Montrose, West University, and Uptown.”

The Houston outpost builds on the success of 55 Seventy’s Dallas flagship, which opened in 2022. At its core, the club is about creating an experience—where expertly curated wines meet elevated cuisine and exceptional service.

Highlights include:

  • A full-service fine dining restaurant and demonstration kitchen for culinary events
  • 800 state-of-the-art wine lockers and exclusive cellar suites
  • Rooftop patio overlooking Levy Park
  • Private dining rooms accommodating up to 100 guests
  • A Founder’s Lounge reserved for invite-only equity members
  • Dedicated sommeliers, a full-time wine concierge, and rare wine brokerage services

From the gated entry to every sip poured, 55 Seventy promises warmth, elegance, and a place where Houston’s tastemakers can gather, celebrate, and explore a world of wine without leaving the city.
