Houston’s cocktail culture just got a lot more stylish. Tucked away in the chic Regent Square district, De Fortune is set to officially open its doors on Friday, April 25, promising an intimate, internationally inspired escape for cocktail connoisseurs and late-night loungers alike.

Brought to life by Texas-based hospitality group MAKE Investments, De Fortune is more than just a bar—it’s a destination. A jewel box of moody sophistication, the 1,614-square-foot space was masterfully designed by Gin Design Group, the award-winning firm behind some of Houston’s most visually captivating dining spots like Haii Keii, MaKiin, and ChopnBlok. Inside, lush greenery climbs toward a sculptural ceiling, plush furnishings invite conversation, and the glowing Azul quartzite bar steals the spotlight with its arching elegance and iridescent mirror finishes.

But De Fortune is not just a feast for the eyes—it’s a sip-by-sip passport around the world.

MAKE Investments tapped Unfiltered Hospitality, the acclaimed beverage consultancy based in Miami, to curate a globe-trotting cocktail menu that’s equal parts bold and beautiful. The debut menu includes a refined collection of six classic and twelve signature cocktails, each infused with international ingredients like Japanese lychee, Greek mastiha, Italian tiramisu, Indian saffron, Caribbean creme de cacao, English rhubarb, and American praline.

“Our hope is that De Fortune takes patrons on a sensory journey of discovery,” said Mayur Desai, co-founder of MAKE Investments. “We want the flavors and visuals to reflect the sophistication of this neighborhood and elevate what people expect from a night out in Houston.”

Guests can also enjoy a well-curated list of premium wines and beers, plus a selection of elevated charcuterie boards with meats and cheeses sourced from around the world—each thoughtfully paired to complement the cocktail experience.

The cocktail menu will rotate seasonally, keeping things fresh with new ingredients, experimental drink formats, and inventive recipes that promise every visit to be uniquely indulgent.

De Fortune is located at 3515 W Dallas St, Suite 300, and will be open daily from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., with Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Whether you’re seeking an after-work wind-down or a late-night rendezvous, this new hotspot is set to redefine cocktail culture in Houston.
