Ne-Yo just redefined the meaning of relationship goals—well, at least for those into polyamory! The R&B crooner hopped on social media and introduced the world to not one, not two, but four girlfriends, putting his unconventional love life front and center.

Cristina, Arielle, Moneii, and Bri are the ladies in his self-proclaimed “pyramid,” each bringing their own flair to the mix. Cristina is a lash and waxing business owner, Arielle works as a photographer, Moneii slays as a makeup artist, and Bri is a dancer and choreographer. And if that’s not enough, Ne-Yo even gave them special pet names: Cristina is “Pretty Baby,” Arielle is his “Twin Flame,” and Bri is his “Sexy Lil Sumthin.” But the one that got folks scratching their heads? Moneii’s nickname—“Phoenix Feather.” He left that one up for interpretation.

Not Everyone Is Here for the “Pyramid” Life

While Ne-Yo is living his best poly life, his ex, Sade Bagnerise (mother of his two youngest kids), isn’t impressed. She took to social media with a scathing message:

“Didn’t I tell your corny a** not to have that st going on in front of my kids? Do that cornball st ON YOUR OWN TIME. And poly relationships aren’t five ‘girlfriends’ that party with you every night so that you can pick up more girls to hook up. This is what you call an OPEN RELATIONSHIP. Stop giving him attention. That’s why he thinks this is cute and marketable instead of hitting that booth and making a good song.”

Even Real Housewives of Atlanta star Monyetta Shaw-Carter, Ne-Yo’s ex-fiancée and mother of his two eldest children, spilled some tea. In an interview with Haus of Aaron, she admitted that their relationship ended because he wouldn’t give up threesomes.

“I was like, ‘If you want that, then you don’t want me.’ I tried to keep it cute and spicy, but it wasn’t enough. But it is what it is.”

She added that while she was fine with occasional threesomes, things took a turn when it became a requirement.

“It became a problem when he wanted that a lot. I was like, ‘Well, no, I didn’t sign up to do this every day.’”

Is This a New Era of Love or a Hard Pass?

Ne-Yo, now a father of seven with three different women, is leaning into what he calls honesty and transparency in relationships. While some fans applaud his openness, others feel like it’s just a new spin on the same old infidelity.

What do y’all think? Is Ne-Yo ahead of his time, or is this just a glorified bachelor lifestyle with a fancy title? Sound off in the comments!
