A Star-Studded Lineup for RodeoHouston 2025

While Bun B’s Birthday Bonanza is generating serious buzz, the rest of the RodeoHouston 2025 lineup is equally impressive, offering something for everyone. The rodeo, running from March 4 to March 23, features a mix of country, pop, regional Mexican, and rock music, with plenty of big-name artists gracing the iconic star stage at NRG Stadium.

Here are some standout nights to look forward to:

  • Reba McEntire (March 4) – The queen of country music returns for her first RodeoHouston performance in nearly two decades. Her appearance on opening day will mark her 20th show at the event.
  • Grupo Frontera (March 16) – One of the most requested acts, Grupo Frontera will debut on Go Tejano Day, which is always one of the most popular events at the rodeo.
  • Post Malone (March 18) – Known for his genre-blending style, Post Malone will take the stage for his first RodeoHouston appearance, adding a pop flair to this year’s lineup.
  • Brooks & Dunn (March 22) – Fans of classic country won’t want to miss Brooks & Dunn, returning for yet another high-energy performance.
  • Luke Bryan (March 23) – Closing out the rodeo, Luke Bryan will deliver his signature blend of country hits and charm for what promises to be a memorable finale.

Other notable performers include Brad Paisley, Lauren Daigle, Journey, and Parker McCollum, who hails from the Greater Houston area.

A Celebration of Houston’s Diversity

Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, highlighted the diverse mix of artists this season.

“Each season, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo aims to bring a strong lineup of artists that reflect our Western roots while still offering an array of music that embraces Houston’s culture,” Boleman said. This year’s roster perfectly reflects that mission, blending country music legends with pop stars, hip-hop icons, and regional Mexican favorites.

Why Bun B’s Performance Stands Out

While RodeoHouston is known for its country roots, Bun B’s feature has become one of the most anticipated events of the season. It’s more than just a concert – it’s a celebration of Black culture, music, and Houston’s influence on the hip-hop world. Bun B has been instrumental in bringing this spotlight to the rodeo, making it a key moment for both the local community and fans of Southern hip-hop. Regardless of the final lineup, one thing’s certain: Bun B knows how to throw a party, and Black Heritage Day is bound to be a show to remember.
