Start with fall-inspired appetizers like the burrata with pomegranate, pumpkin seeds, spiced poached apple and beautifully bright splashes of yellow kabocha squash or the visually stunning poached shrimp enhanced with herb pistou, marinated tapioca and brandy cocktail sauce. Entrees include the earthy green circle chicken with roasted fall squash, mushrooms and Swiss chard, and the decadent chestnut ricotta agnolotti with sunchoke and caramelized salsify. For brunch, enjoy the eggs on eggs with soft scrambled eggs elevated with royal Kaluga caviar that beautifully pairs with brioche, a truly luxurious take on the brunch classic. For a sweet, comforting fall finish, indulge in the caramelized apple mille-phyllo dessert, adorned with kaffir chantilly and calvados cream.

In collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Le Jardinier continues to explore the connection between art and food through the Culinary Canvas series. The MFAH exhibit, Gauguin in the World, offers new perspectives on the French Post-Impressionist, Paul Gauguin’s, life and work, his artistic networks and influences and his contemporary legacies, both artistic and historical. Drawing inspiration from Gauguin’s signature use of color, executive pastry chef Salvatore Martone and pastry chef Tiffani Gkaris introduce the bright hibiscus dessert, a vibrant, layered treat with lemon cream, Joconde biscuit and hibiscus gelée. Complementing the exhibit, the Le Jardinier beverage team created the ictus sketch cocktail, featuring cognac, agricole, orange, aromatized fig syrup and Midori with a garnish of dried fig, flower and nutmeg – all inspired by Gauguin’s color palette.
