When it comes to Beyoncé, you’d better tread lightly—especially if her mom, Tina Knowles, is around. This week, Tina took to social media to shut down false rumors started by conservative commentator Candace Owens, who claimed Beyoncé was paid $10 million to speak at Vice President Kamala Harris’s rally in Houston. Spoiler alert: Tina wasn’t having it!

The rally, held at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, was a star-studded affair. Beyoncé, joined by her Destiny’s Child sister Kelly Rowland and her mom, made a rare political appearance to throw her support behind Harris. Beyoncé addressed the crowd passionately, saying, “I’m not here as a celebrity. I’m here as a mother who cares about the world our children live in.”

But leave it to Candace Owens to stir up some controversy. In a now-flagged Instagram video, Owens claimed that Beyoncé’s heartfelt appearance came with a hefty paycheck. According to her, the superstar was paid a staggering $10 million for her endorsement of Harris.

Miss Tina wasted no time in setting the record straight. She clapped back hard, calling out Owens for spreading misinformation. “Beyoncé did not receive a penny for speaking at a Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally in Houston,” she wrote. She also pointed out that Instagram had flagged Owens’ post as “false information” before removing it entirely.

Fans on social media were quick to back her.

“Miss Tina said what needed to be said!” one fan wrote, while another added, “Candace needs to stop trying to drag Beyoncé for attention. Not today, ma’am!”

The dust-up highlights how misinformation spreads in the digital age, especially when big names like Beyoncé are involved. For Miss Tina, though, the message is clear: Don’t come for Bey unless you’re ready to deal with MAMA Tina!
