Sisters Network® Inc. is coming through in a major way with the 2024 National Black Breast Cancer Summit, and it’s all about empowering our community! Celebrating 30 years of leading the charge in the fight against the Black breast cancer crisis, this groundbreaking event will be held from October 4-6, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency-Galleria in Houston, TX. Best part? It’s free and open to everyone, so mark your calendars.

You already know how crucial this is. Black women are facing some alarming stats: Being 42% more likely to die from breast cancer than our white counterparts, and if you’re under 35, it’s even more urgent—Black women are being diagnosed at double the rate and dying three times faster than white women. This is exactly why the Summit is so necessary.

“We’ve got to get real about this crisis in our community,” says Karen E. Jackson, Founder and CEO of Sisters Network Inc. “Our sisters are battling uphill, and we need to step up, educate ourselves, and save lives.”

The Summit is packed with knowledge! Top experts from the biggest names in breast health will break down the latest info on breast cancer survival and what we need to know to protect ourselves.

On Saturday, October 5, the Summit is leveling up with the 30th Anniversary Pretty In Pink Luncheon & Style Show. Expect some serious fashion moments, courtesy of Saks Fifth Avenue. Tickets for the luncheon are $100, and proceeds will go to the Karen E. Jackson Breast Cancer Assistance Program, which has already helped so many with financial support for treatment. Following the fashion show, the Sisters Network is going to take you to church on Sunday with a FREE gospel brunch with special guest, gospel recording artist, Vernon Jai and the group Greater.

“We’ve spent 30 years saving lives, educating our sisters, and providing over $1.6 million in financial assistance to the Black community,” Jackson said. “The strength

and resilience of Black women are unmatched, and I’m beyond proud of the

sisterhood we’ve built.”

Sisters Network® Inc. is not slowing down anytime soon, and with sponsors like Merck, Lilly, Novartis, Pfizer, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Eisai, and Genentech behind them, this Summit is sure to be a game-changer.
