Rapper Rick Ross has put in his bid for mayor of Fayetteville, Georgia following a video that he posted on social media about his contributions to the community.

As if real-estate tycoon and wing-stop franchisee weren’t enough, Rick Ross, 47, is serious about his potential new role and says his 2nd annual car show on June 3rd,  is just the beginning of what he can do for the area.

Do you know what we did to the financial literacy of the community, exclaimed Ross. “These Airbnb’s going through the roof. It’s going to be more gas sold on June 3rd than yall sold in 6 months.

Ross also encouraged his neighbors to print signs and charge for parking starting at $50 and increasing to $100 for those who live the closest to his “Promise Land” estate.

The city of Fayetteville has not commented on Ross’s mayoral run but they did deny him permits for his annual car show.

In true Rick Ross fashion, he took to Instagram to advise his fans that the car show will still be taking place on his private property— that does not need ticketing.

Only time will tell how this will play out but we don’t think Ricky Rosé will be backing down anytime soon.
