Global superstar and Houston native Beyonce’ made Grammy history Sunday night, officially winning the most Grammy Awards of all time.

Her epic win was solidified when she took home the trophy for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album with “Renaissance.”

The entire audience leapt to their feet as an emotional Beyonce made her victory walk to the stage.

“Thank you God,” Beyonce’ began. “I want to thank my Uncle Johnny, who is not here, but he is here in spirit.”

She then went on to thank her parents – Mathew and Tina Knowles- for loving and pushing her, in addition to praising her beautiful husband Jay Z and three children, Blue Ivy, Sir and Rumi Carter, whom she said were watching mommy from home.

“I’d like to thank the Queer community for your love and for inventing the genre. God bless you and thank you so much to the Grammys,” Beyonce’ added, to thunderous applause.

Earlier in the evening, Beyonce also won for Best Traditional R&B performance with “Plastic Off the Sofa,” Best Dance/Electronic recording for “Break My Soul,” and Best R&B Song with “Cuff It.”

The wins gave Beyonce an overall total of 32 Grammy wins, officially beating Georg Solti’s record of 31. Before breaking Solti’s record, she was tied with Quincy Jones, with them each holding 28 wins.

Host Trevor Noah then summed it up best, saying the debate over the “Greatest of all time” is no longer up for debate.

“Who’s the Goat?” Noah asked, saying that Queen Bey reigns supreme over other G.O.A.T. legends. “It’s not Lebron, it’s not Jordan. It’s not Tom Brady. It’s officially done.”

And you know what, speaking on behalf of many Houstonians, we have to agree.

Way to go Beyonce’, thanks for showing that H-Town is where true legends are born!
