Migos rapper Offset is shutting down reports coming from the rumor mill that he and Quavo got into a fight backstage at the Grammy Awards Sunday night because Quavo refused to let him join on stage for a tribute to Takeoff.

Quavo gave a heartfelt, yet heartbreaking, performance of his song “Without You,” which he made to honor his nephew Takeoff, who was shot and killed at the end of a Halloween night party held in Houston last year.

The three family members were all part of the rap superstar group, Migos. Takeoff was Quavo’s sister’s son and Offset, who is married to Cardi B, is their cousin.

At the time of the fatal shooting, the Migos were somewhat separated, with Quavo and Takeoff working on joint projects as “Unc and Phew” and Offset working solo.

Fans were hoping the two had mended their fences but, according to TMZ, it doesn’t appear so.

TMZ reported that before Quavo took the stage for the “In Memoriam” tribute, he and Offset got into a physical fight and had to be pulled apart.

Following the allegations, Offset took to his Twitter account to address the rumor mill saying, “what the f*** I look like fighting my brother, yall n***** is crazy.”

One thing we know, is that both of the men are mourning and they need each other now, more than ever. We send our prayers to the family and hope they can get it together, as “Take,” the peacemaker, would have wanted.
