Wine Vibes, a micro-winery and bistro, is opening Tuesday in the growing Sienna community of Missouri City, Texas.

The 4,181 square foot retail wine store features 100 seats for dining, and will be staffed with vintners who hold a wealth of knowledge on selections to accommodate various palates, guiding customers through a hands-on experience with the wine-making process and offering wine from lesser-known winemakers that tell a story. Customers can also enjoy food items such as tapas, flatbreads and paninis, and a variety of charcuterie boards to pair with wine selections.

Guests will be able to do tastings, bottle their wine, and design custom wine labels. The winery will also offer bottle sales, wine bar service, wine club memberships, and bistro style service. In addition, guests can reserve space to host special events, as well as purchase custom wine gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, and corporate affairs.

Chef Phillip Hare will serve as Wine Vibes’ General Manager. Hare has approximately 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including developing successful business concepts and creating unique cuisines. Hare was most notably a creative mind behind Houston’s Red Cat Jazz Café and served as co-owner of Beaucoup Eats in New Orleans, Louisiana. Wine Vibes will be part of new development, Sienna Crossing, in the Sienna neighborhood of Missouri City, Texas. Sienna Crossing is a multi-use property designed by Williamsburg Enterprises, which includes restaurants and retail businesses that are diligently curating tenants for the neighborhood to embrace. Missouri City was recently named one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas by Forbes Magazine.

“We are excited to bring our vision of Wine Vibes to the community,” the Wine Vibes Group said. “Our goal with the winery is to introduce residents of Sienna and surrounding neighborhoods to new varieties and wine culture in an approachable, friendly way.”

At the time of Wine Vibes’ inception, three women sought to fill a need for diversity in the wine industry and create a business in one of the most diverse suburbs of Houston. Female and minority winemakers remain relatively scarce; therefore, the team expanded its vision to partner with groups of winemakers across various regions, forging paramount connections within the industry.

“To accommodate Missouri City neighborhood’s rapid growth, we felt this was the perfect time to expand our vision, and share our passion and knowledge with the community,” the Wine Vibes Group said.

Wine Vibes strives to educate guests through an immersive experience by breaking through barriers of color and gender by pairing wine with inclusivity, and introducing the industry in an approachable, fun, and vibrant way. Guests, whether wine aficionados or novices, can expect to gain a deeper appreciation of wine.
