She was the potty mouth grandma everyone fell in love with as her “keep it real” humor made her a viral sensation on TikTok and other social media platforms but sadly, Helen Davis, also known as “Grandma Holla,” has died. She was 97 years old.

Her loving, devoted granddaughter confirmed the news to social media fans on Saturday.

“I wanna thank y’all so much for the smiles y’all put on her face,” the granddaughter said. “She passed away in her sleep. She went out peacefully. What’s really keeping together y’all is she’s not in pain anymore, no more cancer, no more morphine.”

Grandma Holla was shockingly blunt and fans loved her commentary on dating, celebrities, and “straight no chaser” advice for young people.

But as real as she was, she had the sweetest side, showing her vulnerabilty when speaking of her awe of being a celebrity, as she mentioned, like “Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jay Z and Beyonce.”

In another endearing video, she thanked everyone for loving her and told everyone how much she loved them.

RIP you beautiful, sassy lady. May flights of angels sing thee to thy final rest.
