It was a star-studded evening as fashionistas from all over the Houston area and beyond came together in The Woodlands to support The Make-A-Wish Foundation. On Friday, Dec. 2, Fashion Woodlands held its annual fashion show at the fabulous estate of lifestyle influencer Theresa Roemer and her husband, Lamar.

The enclosed 40’x80′ tent was a magical winter wonderland theme with a fashion runway constructed over the pool to give way to the most over-the-top fashion show including international designers: Jose Sanchez from Mexico, Dahlia Razook from London, Cesar Galindo from New York, and our very own Houston designer, Jonathan Blake.

Raffle tickets sold that evening included the chance to win a pair of $20,000 custom-built diamond hoop earrings by Mark Pharo Extraordinary Jewels and 7 VIP front-row seats to Cesar Galindo’s fashion show in NYC during fashion week in February.

Theresa Roemer, along with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, helped a deserving kid’s dream come true! The child, Sydney, was dressed in a custom outfit, provided by Jonathan Blake, along with hair and makeup. After she walked the runway, she was surprised and told that her wish for walking in a New York Fashion show would be coming true in February in Cesar Galindo’s fashion show during Fashion Week.

Page Parkes, of Page Parkes Texas, was also on hand to donate runway classes to help Sydney prepare for her NYC fashion debut.  And to make the evening even more memorable, the woman who won the $20,000 custom-made diamond earrings donated them to Sydney.

You know what they say …. “Everything is bigger in Texas” …. and that was definitely the case that night.

Notables in attendance included Vicki Gunvalson from Real Housewives of Orange County,  Vivian Wise, NFL player Adrian Peterson and wife Ashley, 5X Olympic medalist Chad Hendricks and wife Lynsey, Michael Pearce, Amanda Abbiassi, Neera Patidar, Iraida and Danny BrownHector Villarreal from Lucho, Christopher Mitchell, Candace Ford, as well as many others.

Mark your calendars for next year’s event, you won’t want to miss it!
