This Black-owned restaurant is spicing up the brunch game with smaller plates, bigger flavors, and upscale entertainment

If you’re an avid weekend brunch-goer like I am, you would soon realize that if you’ve been to one brunch spot, you’ve been to them all. This isn’t to diss any of our many (many) amazing Black-owned brunch restaurants in the Houston area, we just feel the need to highlight this Black-owned concept that is changing the way we brunch in a major way.
It’s time I introduced you to Cleo Lounge, the restaurant that’s been making noise in the Pearland area. The restaurant also features a lounge and hookah patio to relax and rewind after enjoying food from an impressive menu.
What’s unique about Cleo Lounge is the concept of tapas, which are primarily hot or cold appetizers used in Spanish cuisine. Many types of tapas can be combined to make a full meal. Not to worry, full-sized plates are also available.
Take a look at some of these delicious dishes, that are guaranteed to blow you away!
The Cleo Lounge is open Thursday through Sunday. Book your reservations now!

Who cares if it’s black-owned, white-owned, or brown-owned? Unnecessary information. It’s the food stupid!
