Rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, is filing a countersuit regarding the Megan’s latest album, “Something for Thee Hotties”.

The label claims that the album does not constitute a real album and that Megan Thee Stallion owes the label another two albums. In February, Thee Stallion petitioned for Something for Thee Hotties to be considered as an actual album that would meet the contractual agreement between her and 1501 Certified Entertainment.

1501 says that the album is just a “compilation of older material ‘made up of 21 recordings and includes spoken interlude recordings on which MTS does not appear as well as several previously-released recordings.”

Thee Stallion’s lawyers claimed that the move by the label was an attempt to “tie [Megan Thee Stallion] down to release more albums under the Contract to the financial benefit of 1501.”

Megan has taken to Twitter to express her frustrations and shed light on the current negotiations and actions taken by her lawyers and the label.
