When participating in a potluck, whether it be among friends, family, or co-workers, you want to choose a dish that’s going to really “wow” the table. Our friends over at Cooking Professionally have simplified your choices with these tender and irresistible Potluck Spareribs.

Ingredients

• 6 pounds pork spareribs

 • 1 1/2 cups ketchup

• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

• 1/2 cup white vinegar

• 1/2 cup honey

• 1/3 cup soy sauce

• 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger

• 1 teaspoon salt

• 3/4 teaspoon ground mustard

• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Cut the ribs into serving-sized pieces; place them with the meat side up on racks in 2 greased 13×9-inch baking pans. Cover pans tightly with foil.

Step 3

Bake the ribs for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the meat is tender.

Step 4

Remove racks; drain and return the ribs to pans.

Step 5

In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour the mixture over the ribs.

Step 6

Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for 30-40 minutes or until the sauce coats ribs, basting occasionally. Ribs can also be grilled over medium-hot heat for the last 30-40 minutes instead of baking.
