Salmon can be one of the most delicious entrées, but when it’s overcooked it can take away some of the rich flavor of the fish. Not to worry though, because this Easy Broiled Salmon recipe, brought to you by Cooking Professionally, will have you cooking salmon like a pro!

Ingredients

• 4 tablespoons olive oil 

• 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar 

• 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce 

• 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest 

• 2 teaspoons lemon juice 

• 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, plus more for garnish, chopped 

• 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves 

• 1/2 teaspoon salt 

• 1/4 teaspoon pepper 

• 1 teaspoon garlic, minced 

• 4 (4-6-ounce) salmon fillets 

• lemon wedges, optional, for serving 

• cooked green beans, optional, for serving

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the broiler and coat a sheet pan with cooking spray.

Step 2

Add the olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, thyme, salt, pepper, and garlic together in a medium bowl, whisking to combine.

Step 3

Add the salmon, coating it in the glaze.

Step 4

Place the coated salmon on the prepared sheet pan and broil until browned and opaque, about 10-15 minutes. The fish should flake easily with a fork.

Step 5

Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges and serve.
