These five Black women-owned wellness brands are dedicated to helping people like you find healing and health.

  1. 1. Therapy for Black Girls

The need for therapy has grown exponentially since the start of the pandemic and has led to more accessible options to receive care. Therapy for Black Girls is an organization dedicated to erasing the stigma surrounding Black women and mental health. TFBG provides a network of therapists in your surrounding area or online that can identify with and help you navigate the experiences of Black womanhood.

2. Ethel’s Club

Ethel’s Club is a social club and wellness environment dedicated to building community among people of color prioritizing wellness and joy. Daily classes are available, as well as digital and in-person events.

3. HunnyBunny Boutique

HunnyBunny Boutique is a retailer supplying handmade bath and beauty products made with superior all-natural ingredients that can be found in your own kitchen and used by your whole family. This family-business is owned by two beautiful Black girls, Nya and Zuri.

4. Black Girls Breathing

Have you ever been so stressed out and busy with life that you forget to just take a moment and breathe? Sounds like most of us these days, and Black Girls Breathing is on a mission to do something about it. BGB provides a free and accessible safe space for Black women to take initiative with their mental health and wellness through community service and breathwork.

5. GirlTrek

GirlTrek is a movement practicing self-care for Black women and girls through walking. The organization is currently the largest public and health movement for Black women in the nation. GirlTrek is dedicated to building community amongst Black women and using “walking as a practical first step to inspire healthy living, families, and communities.”
