You really can’t go wrong with delicious meatballs, covered in melted cheese, sandwiched in a red sauce-soaked bun. Yum! This is a shareable appetizer that will be a hit at any gathering.

Time: 30 minutes

Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients:

12 slider buns
12 meatballs, cooked
2 cups traditional pasta sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:

Step 1: Set the oven to 350 degrees F (or 176 degrees C). Put the bottom of the slider buns into a casserole dish.

Step 2: Pour a little bit of the sauce onto each bun and place a meatball in them, and add just a little more sauce over the meatballs.

Step 3: Then cover your meatballs in the mozzarella. Put the top of the buns on the meatballs and then brush them with oil.

Step 4: Add the parmesan and the Italian seasoning, sprinkle it on the buns. Then cover the dish with aluminum foil and then bake it for approximately 10 minutes, then move the aluminum foil and then continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Step 5: ENJOY!
