Drake treated the world to three-year-old Adonis Graham Sunday night after bringing him onstage at the Billboard Music Award.

Adonis, dressed in a red flannel shirt, clung tightly to his father as Drake accepted the Artist of the Decade award. The rapper handed Adonis the BBMA award as they stood on an outdoor stage at the Los Angeles’ Microsoft Center.

Drake then went on to speak on how he views his music in his acceptance speech.

“I’m really self-conscious about my music,” Drake said. “Even if I do a good job, I always wonder how I could have done it better. I rarely celebrate anything. I know that I’ve spent an incalculable amount of hours trying to analyze all the things I did wrong,” he continued. “But tonight, for once, I’m sure as hell we did something right.”

Drake went on to dedicate the award to family, friends, and collaborators. He ended the speech by picking up the toddler, who began crying, and they left the stage holding hands.

In Lebron James’ talk show, “The Shop”, Drake revealed his relationship with Adonis’ mother Sophie Brussaux, former model and painter, in 2018.

“I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who, we’ve had our moments,” Drake said. “I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened. But I don’t have any desire for him to not love his mother. I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother. We have found ourselves in a situation and we are both equally responsible. Now, I’m just really excited to be a great father. No matter what happens, I have unconditional love for the mother of my child,” he added. “I want him to love his mother and I have to project that energy.”
