The Los Angeles Storage Bandits are at it again, this time stealing $1million worth of property from global superstar, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.

According to TMZ, the criminals targeted the “Savage” singer’s storage unit and got away with designer handbags and dresses. The burglars returned a week later to the same unit and made off with more handbags, toys, and photos belonging to one of Beyonce’s stylists.

“Queen Bey” joins a growing list of celebrities who have had their homes and storage units burglarized, including Miley Cyrus, Dr. Dre, and Johnny Depp.

But these criminals aren’t just targeting homes and storage facilities.

The recent dognapping of Lady Gaga’s two English bulldogs and the shooting of her dog walker made national news.

And the Los Angeles Police Department spoke about the criminal activity.

“The City of Los Angeles has seen a sizeable increase in violent crime,” said LAPD Captain Shannon Paulson. “There is some conjecture as to how that’s related to the tension stemming from COVID-19, from the closure of businesses etc., but it is definitely been a marked increase over the last roughly six months.”

The southern states have also had their fair share of celebrity robberies.

Back in January, rapper and actor Ludacris was at an ATM in Atlanta, Georgia when car thieves stole his Mercedes-Benz S63 sedan. A similar incident occurred to New York rapper Benny the Butcher, who was shot during a robbery attempt at a shopping mall in Houston.

It’s evident that these celebrities need to beef up their security.

With more celebrities showing off their glamorous lifestyles on social media, it’s not too hard to believe that criminals would be tempted.
