Cardi B to star in film inspired by ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ and ‘Sister Act’

Rapper Cardi B continues to expand her portfolio, taking on a new role inspired by the late, great Robin Williams and comedian and talk show host Whoopi Goldberg.

The “WAP” rapper announced that she has been cast in her first starring role as a female burglar who is forced to hide out in an old folks’ home.

Paramount confirmed the news, saying the film “Assisted Living” will be similar to classic movies like “Mrs. Doubtfire” or “Sister Act.”

The release date has yet to be revealed, but we are excited to see Cardi bring her naturally brash comedy and larger than life personality to the big screen.
