[WATCH]: Tisha Campbell reveals she had only $7 in bank after divorce

Emmy Award winning actress Tisha Campbell is sharing the details of her devastating divorce from husband of over 20 years, Duane Martin.

In a recent interview with ET Online, the 90s icon shared that after leaving her husband two years ago, she was left with only $7 in the bank.

“Nothing. No one knows that, but I had nothing. Nothing in the bank. Nothing,” she said. “I had maybe $7 to my name, and I was scared. It was like I was starting all over.”

The 52-year-old actress says that, despite the hardships, she knows now that she made the best decision for herself and her sons, Xen and Ezekiel.

“I did raise children who didn’t care about the big mansion that I had or that we had to start over or any of it,” she shared. “Starting over isn’t always the easiest thing, but it is a necessary thing. It’s a beautiful devastation.”

Campbell was granted a temporary restraining order from Martin after alleging physical, emotional, and mental abuse since the start of their marriage in 1996. She also claimed that the “All of Us” actor hid money from her during their marriage.

And speaking of “All of Us,” Duane’s co-star, LisaRaye McCoy, said he was one of the main reasons her marriage ended.
