Verzuz canceled between Ashanti, Keyshia Cole after singer tests positive for COVID-19
Fans who were anxiously awaiting the Verzuz battle between Ashanti and Keyshia Cole will have to wait because Ashanti has tested positive for COVID-19.
The two divas were set to face off Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET/ 7p.m. CST, but Ashanti revealed the news hours before it was all to begin.
“Hey y’all I can’t believe I’m saying this but I tested positive for COVID-19. I’m ok and not in any pain. I’m actually down to do the verzuz from my house… we’re tring to figure it all out!!!” Ashanti posted on Instagram.
Verzuz also confirmed the cancelation.
Get well Ashanti. We wish you a speedy recovery and can’t wait to hear you two “SANG” all of our favorite songs when this is over.
